Russia has published Order No. 3092-p of 2 November 2023, which approves the signing of a new income tax treaty with Malaysia. The treaty must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1987 tax treaty between Malaysia and the former Soviet Union as it applies in relations between Malaysia and Russia.
