New Tax Treaty between the Netherlands and Sweden Signed

The Dutch Government has announced the signing of a new income tax treaty with Sweden on 24 June 2026, including provisions in line with the minimum BEPS standards. The treaty will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1991 tax treaty between the two countries. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
