On 13 July 2016, the New Zealand Government announced that it will adopt the recommendations included in the recently published inquiry into foreign trust disclosure rules ({News-2016-06-29/P/2- previous coverage}) with a few modifications. The needed legislation to implement the recommendations will be introduced in August 2016.
