According to a Telegram post by the Russian Embassy in Nigeria, officials from Nigeria and Russia signed an agreement on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters on 28 October 2026. The agreement is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
