According to an update of 22 March 2023, published by the authorities of the United Kingdom, discussions for the conclusion of a tax treaty between San Marino and the United Kingdom are ongoing.

The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
