Palestine Providing Deadline Extension and Other Measures for COVID-19

The Palestine government has reportedly implemented a number of tax measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Measures include:

• The extension of the deadline for filing the annual corporate income tax return for 2019 to 30 June 2020
• An exemption from late filing penalties for monthly VAT returns until the end of the emergency period; and
• The requirement for companies to file payroll and withholding tax forms electronically.
