The Philippines Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has announced that the suspension of all field audits and related operations has been lifted. Audits had been suspended since the end of November 2025, pending a review and reform of audit policies and procedures. The suspension was formally lifted by Revenue Memorandum Circular 8-2026, with revised audit policies and procedures provided by Revenue Memorandum Order No 1-2026.
