Officials from Portugal and the United Kingdom signed a new income tax treaty on 15 September 2025. The treaty will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1968 tax treaty between the two countries. Details of the new treaty will be published once available.
