On 22 April 2021, the Secretary of Finance released a new dispatch (Despacho Nº 133/2021-XXII) which postpones the requirement to apply QES on non-EDI e-invoices, e.g. PDF invoices, until 1 October 2021. Previously, this regulation was announced to enter into force on 1 July 2021.
As of 1 October 2021, after the deadline expires, all non-EDI, incl. PDF, invoices will be required to be signed with QES (Qualified Electronic Signature) in order to be considered valid for fiscal purposes…
