Puerto Rico's House of Representatives is considering a draft bill submitted on 12 January 2026 that would amend the personal income tax brackets/rates to provide an overall tax reduction. The proposed brackets/rates are as follows:

• over USD 12,500 up to 25,000 - 6%
• over USD 25,000 up to 50,000 - 12%
• over USD 50,000 up to 100,000 - 24%
• over USD 100,000 up to 150,000 - 29%…
