According to releases from Qatar's General Tax Authority and the Embassy of Tanzania in Qatar, officials from Qatar and Tanzania concluded negotiations with the initialing of an income tax treaty on 27 August 2025. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
