Romania Provides Further Support for COVID-19

Romania's Ministry of Finance has announced its decision on 25 March 2021 to provide further measures to support businesses in light of COVID-19. Measures include:

• A further 90-day exemption from the specific tax for businesses in the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurants, Catering) sectors from 1 April 2021;
• The extension of the deadline for submitting applications for budgetary obligation restructuring to 31 January 2022;
