On 14 July 2021, Rwanda's Cabinet approved the draft law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The treaty, signed 26 June 2021, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
