On 8 February 2024, Rwanda's Chamber of Deputies (lower house of parliament) approved the law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Jordan. The treaty, signed 7 January 2024, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
