According to a release published by the Kyrgyz National News Agency, officials from Austria and Kyrgyzstan met from 11 to 14 November 2025 for the first round of negotiations for a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
