According to a release from Mongolia's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, officials from Kazakhstan and Mongolia held negotiations for a social security agreement on 20 October 2020. Any resulting agreement will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
