The Czech Republic approved for signature the draft income tax treaty with Gabon on April 9th, 2014. Negotiations for the treaty began in November 2012, and a treaty was initialed by both countries on November 7th, 2013, after the third round of negotiations.
The income tax treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified by both countries before entering into force.
