Slovak Republic and Thailand Looking to Conclude Tax Treaty ASAP

According to a release from the Slovak Republic Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, officials from the Slovak Republic and Thailand met on 12 October 2026 to discuss bilateral investment, trade, and other areas of cooperation, including the conclusion of an income tax treaty as soon as possible. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
