Social Security Agreement between the Dominican Republic and Switzerland Under Negotiation

According to a release from the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Labor, officials from the Dominican Republic and Switzerland met on 30 March 2026 to discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation on labor and social security issues, including the negotiation of a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
