According to a release from Turkey's Directorate General for Foreign Relations and European Union Affairs, officials from Turkey and Uzbekistan signed a social security agreement on 29 October 2026. The agreement is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
