South Korea Approves Pending Tax Treaty with Singapore and Protocols to Tax Treaties with Switzerland, Turkmenistan, the UAE, and Uzbekistan

On 10 December 2019, South Korea's National Assembly approved for ratification:

• The new income tax treaty with Singapore, which was signed on 13 May 2019 and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1979 tax treaty between the two countries;
• The amending protocol to the 1980 income tax treaty with Switzerland, which was signed on 17 May 2019;
