On 29 June 2018, the Spanish Cabinet approved the signature of a new income tax treaty with Ukraine. The treaty must be signed and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1985 tax treaty between Spain and the former Soviet Union as it applies in respect of Spain and Ukraine. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
