Sri Lanka's Inland Revenue Department has issued Notice to Taxpayers that highlights the changes made to the Inland Revenue Act No. 24 of 2017 by then Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act No. 11 of 2026, which was certified (enacted) on 3 June 2026. In connection with this, a separate Notice has been issued on the interest relief introduced by Act No. 11 of 2026.
