The Sri Lanka Inland Revenue Department has issued a notice dated 24 May 2021 concerning payments that may be remitted without a tax deduction or a tax clearance certificate. The notice also provides instructions for deducting tax when required for other payments, and instructions on record-keeping and submission requirements for banks and authorized dealers engaged in outward remittances.
