On 9 September 2026, the Swiss Federal Council announced the adoption of the dispatch for the approval of the pending social security agreement with Moldova. The agreement, signed 2 June 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
