On 21 March 2025, Switzerland's pending income tax treaties with Angola and Jordan were given final approval in parliament.

The tax treaty with Angola, signed 30 November 2023, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will generally apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
