According to recent reports, the tax information exchange agreement between Ecuador and the U.S. entered into force on 30 October 2022. The agreement, signed 7 April 2021, is the first of its kind between the two countries and applies for requests made on or after the date of its entry into force, without regard to the taxable period to which the request relates.
