On 4 May 2018, Tajikistan’s Assembly of Representatives approved the law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Uzbekistan. The treaty, signed 9 March 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
