The Dutch Official Gazette on 25 July 2024 published the text of the comprehensive tax treaty signed on 1 July 2024 between the Netherlands on behalf of Curaçao and Suriname. The treaty is the first of its kind between Curaçao and Suriname and will enter into force after completion of the ratification procedures. Salient features of the treaty will be reported in a forthcoming issue of this Newsletter.
