Officials from Kazakhstan and Kuwait concluded a round of negotiations for an income and capital tax treaty on 8 August 2023 and agreed to hold a next round of negotiations to finalize the remaining provisions of the treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
