According to a release from the Ukraine Government, officials from Kenya and Ukraine met on 14 May 2019 to discuss bilateral cooperation, including negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
