The income and capital tax treaty between Luxembourg and Montenegro entered into force on 1 October 2025. The treaty, signed 29 January 2024, is the first of its kind between the two countries.

Taxes Covered

The treaty covers Luxembourg income tax on individuals, corporation tax, capital tax, and communal trade tax. It covers Montenegrin corporate profit tax and personal income tax.
