According to a release from the Ukrainian government, officials from Mauritius and Ukraine met to discuss the strengthening of cooperation and agreed to begin negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
