The income tax treaty between Sri Lanka and Turkey entered into force on 11 December 2023. The treaty, signed on 28 January 2022, is the first of its kind between the two countries.
Taxes Covered
The treaty covers Sri Lanka income tax, including the income tax payable as a percentage of turnover of enterprises that entered into agreements with the Board of Investment. It covers Turkish income tax and corporate tax.
