On 15 August 2013, the Ministry of Finance issued Letter No. 03-03-06/1/33242 clarifying the rules for determining the taxable base in the case of transfer of shares that were received in lieu of dividends.
The Tax Code stipulates that in calculating the capital gains in the case of transfer of shares, the acquisition price of these shares should be considered.
