On 18 March 2019, the Government of the Czech Republic approved the signing of an income tax treaty with Bangladesh. Negotiations for the treaty were concluded with the initialing of the treaty on 26 July 2018. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
