Details have become available of the new income tax treaty between Belgium and Morocco, signed on 31 May 2006, which entered into force on 30 April 2009. The treaty was signed in the Arabic, Dutch and French languages, each text having equal authenticity. In case of divergences, however, the French text prevails. The treaty generally follows the OECD Model Convention (2005).
