U.S. President Donald Trump has announced via a Truth Social post that a trade deal has been reached with India. Under the deal, the U.S. will charge a reduced reciprocal tariff, lowering it from 25% to 18%, while India will reduce their tariff and non-tariff barriers against the U.S. to zero. India has also agreed to buy American products at a higher level.
