Ukraine Clarifies Social Tax Benefit Deduction for Individuals

The Ukraine State Tax Service has clarified the application of the social tax benefit deduction for individuals. The monthly deduction from taxable employment (salary) income is equal to 50% of the minimum subsistence level for employed persons, which has been set at UAH 2,270 from 1 January 2021, and may be claimed by individuals earning monthly employment income not exceeding 1.4 times the minimum subsistence level, rounded up to the nearest UAH 10.
