Ukraine Considering Tax Code Amendments

The Ukrainian parliament is currently considering a law amending the Tax Code. The main changes proposed in the law are as follows:

• The introduction of an 18% tax for banks and credit unions on interest accrued on the deposits of natural persons - the tax would be charged monthly and deductible for corporate tax purposes
