Ukraine Parliament Considering Progressive "War Tax" Rates

The Ukraine parliament is reportedly considering a draft law for the replacement of the single rate of the so-called "War Tax" with progressive rates based on average monthly income as follows:

• up to the minimum monthly salary - 0.5%
• over the minimum up to UAH 15,000 - 1.0%
• over UAH 15,000 up to UAH 40,000 - 1.5%
• over UAH 40,000 up to UAH 100,000 - 2.5%
• over UAH 100,000 up to UAH 500,000 - 3.5%
• over UAH 500,000 up to UAH 1 million - 4.5%
• over UAH 1 million up to UAH 5 million - 5.5%
