The Ukraine Parliament is considering Draft Law 9656, which provides for the introduction of a windfall tax on banks. The windfall tax would be levied at a rate of 5% on the net interest income of banks in addition to the standard corporate income tax. The tax would be levied for a period of three years from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2026.
