On 31 July 2014, Portugal approved for ratification the pending income tax treaty with Croatia. It was signed 4 October 2013, and was approved for ratification by Croatia on 5 march 2014. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries.
Taxes Covered
The treaty covers Portuguese personal and corporate income taxes, and surtaxes on corporate income tax. It covers Croatian income, profit and local income taxes, as well as any surcharges.
