According to recent reports, Uruguay's president signed the law for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Romania on 12 April 2019. The agreement, signed 13 September 2017, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
