On December 29, 2024, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) informed that it had decided to extend its Cancellation of Fines and Penalties initiative until June 30, 2025.
To be eligible for the exemption, taxpayers must be registered under relevant tax laws, submit any previously non-submitted returns and pay all principal tax debt associated with the returns.
