Zambia's National Assembly (parliament) is currently considering the Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2019. The Bill provides for an amendment to the Income Tax Act to reduce the turnover tax threshold for small businesses from ZMW 800,000 per year to ZMW 500,000 per year.
