Milestone submission marks the transition from Pillar Two preparation to active compliance as multinational enterprises approach June 30 filing deadlines.
New York, NY – 3 June 2026 – Orbitax today announced the successful M2M submission of a GloBE Information Return (GIR) to the Netherlands through its Global Minimum Tax (GMT) platform, marking a significant milestone as multinational enterprises begin meeting their first Pillar Two reporting obligations.
For many tax departments, the challenge is no longer understanding Pillar Two rules or completing calculations. The focus has shifted to execution: identifying filing requirements, preparing jurisdiction-specific returns, validating xml files, and meeting filing deadlines across multiple tax authorities.
The successful Netherlands submission demonstrates the operational readiness of Orbitax’s filing infrastructure as organizations move from preparation to compliance.

The market is entering a new phase of Pillar Two compliance. For the last several years, the focus has been on interpreting rules and performing calculations. Organizations are now filing returns. The successful submission to the Netherlands demonstrates how that process can be managed within a single workflow.

Alongside this milestone, Orbitax has expanded its filing readiness capabilities to support 140+ local country Pillar Two forms across 37 jurisdictions for the 2024 fiscal year reporting cycle, including registrations, GloBE Information Returns (GIRs), GIR Notifications, QDMTT returns, IIR returns, self-assessment returns, and other jurisdiction-specific filing requirements.
The platform also supports machine-to-machine GIR transmission across multiple participating jurisdictions, allowing organizations to submit filings directly from Orbitax where tax authority connectivity is available. Jurisdiction-specific integrations include support for filings with HMRC in the UK, the Canada Revenue Agency, BzSt in Germany and the Dutch Tax Authorities. Support for Australia is currently being finalized and is expected to be available shortly.
To support filing accuracy, Orbitax provides validation checks covering both technical schema requirements and OECD content-level rules. Tax teams can review validation results, resolve issues, and manage submissions through a centralized workflow that maintains a complete audit trail throughout the filing lifecycle.
As the first generation of Pillar Two filing obligations comes due, Orbitax continues to expand jurisdiction coverage, filing support, and transmission capabilities to help multinational enterprises manage increasingly complex global reporting requirements.
